Shop Team Member -
seasonal (part time)
Do you thrive in a busy environment and keep your calm when things get a little crazy? We're seeking customer service wizards to help during our busiest weeks of the year. Responsibilities include helping shoppers find the perfect card or gift, ringing up purchases, restocking merchandise, helping with shop events, and ensuring the shop looks its best every day. These positions are temporary, seasonal help during our busy holiday season (October 15 - Dec 31).
Ideal candidates are friendly, outgoing, an enthusiasm for service, an interest in cards and gifts, common sense, and a sense of humor.
We expect all team members to be courteous, punctual, ready to pitch in to help with a variety of projects, eager to learn, and to be able to do simple math (like making change) without the aid of a calculator.
Outstanding people skills are required, a desire to keep things neat is a must. Comfort using basic office software (google docs, dropbox, normal spreadsheets) is preferred.
This position is part time (15-25 hrs / week) and requires both evening and full weekend availability - ideal candidates will not think twice about working Saturdays and Sundays. Working every weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a must for all employees.
seasonal (part time)
Ever wonder how all of the great gifts we sell end up in each shop? We have dedicated employees who receive all packages, open and process each order, and prepare every item for sale in the shops. Responsibilities include helping to inventory incoming orders, tagging and stickering new items, and help in keeping the warehouse organized and clean. These positions are temporary and seasonal (approx. Aug 15 - Nov 15) to help us prepare for the busy holiday season.
Ideal candidates are friendly, quick, and have common sense, and a sense of humor.
We expect all team members to be courteous, punctual, ready to pitch in to help with a variety of projects, and eager to learn.
Good communication skills are important, along with a desire to keep things neat.
This position is part time (15-25 hrs / week), weekdays during our receiving hours (M-F 9am - 6pm)
