We are currently hiring Receiving Assistants for our Warehouse Team, a Shop Manager for Chestnut Hill, and full or part time Customer Service associates in all three shops. Warehouse Assistant

We're looking for help in getting all of the fantastic product that shows up in our warehouse ready for the sales floor. These positions are part time (15-25 hours / week, with flexible scheduling), Monday to Friday. Since this job entails opening and unpacking boxes, your presence in the Pennsauken warehouse is required.
Responsibilities for this position include unpacking orders, stickering items, assessing items for damages, organizing product in bins for each shop by theme, and helping to maintain organization of existing inventory.

Well qualified candidates for this role are organized, communicate well, ask questions as needed, are observant (and can spot a deficiency in a product!), are efficient when given repetitive tasks, and have good attention to detail.

Shop Manager 

Our Shop Managers are a key contributing factor to the success of Occasionette. They run the day-to-day and set the standard and tone for customer service in their respective shop. Responsibilities include communicating with the Director of Operations, leading their teams to maintain the overall appearance of the shop, leading by example with excellent customer service, conducting coaching and support conversations with their team members as needed, keeping back of house spaces organized, assisting with prep for any in-shop events, scheduling their teams, assisting with hiring and training as needed, and handling any escalated customer issues. 

Well qualified candidates are people-people who thrive in a busy environment, love teaching and training customer service professionals, and could be described as outgoing, friendly, level headed, fair, and cheerful. This is a full time Shop Manager position - 35-40 hours / week. Shop Managers report to our Director of Customer Service. This position requires a physical presence in our storefronts and the ability to lift up to 20 pound bins of merchandise.

Customer Service Team 

We are seeking retail wizards who have a knack for making people feel special. Ideal candidates will provide top-notch, low key customer service. Customer service responsibilities include making everyone who comes in feel welcome, helping shoppers find the perfect card or gift for tiny humans and expecting parents, ringing up purchases, gift wrapping for our customers, restocking sold items, proper cash handling, performing basic opening and closing procedures, cleaning, sanitizing and straightening.

Ideal candidates are friendly and outgoing, have an enthusiasm for cards and goods & gifts, common sense, excellent communication skills, and a sense of humor. Outstanding people skills are required.

We expect all team members to be courteous, punctual, ready to pitch in to help with a variety of projects, eager to learn, and to be able to do simple math (like making change) without the aid of a calculator.
