Shop Manager
Each of Occasionette's shops are lead by a Shop Manager, who oversees customer service at their location. We are seeking a retail professional to manage our Chestnut Hill location. This position reports directly to our Director of Customer Service and manages the team's schedule, is in charge of customer happiness in the shop, works closely with the merchandising team to ensure the shop looks beautiful, coordinates supply needs with our warehouse, and generally runs the day to day operations of the shop.
The Shop Manager is a full time position, averaging about 40 hours a week, including evenings and weekends. This position is eligible for our benefits package, including health insurance benefits, our retirement plan contribution matching, paid vacation days, and an employee discount. Wages are commensurate with experience and range from $21-25/hr.

Customer Service Specialists
We are seeking a few customer service magicians at each of our locations with a knack for making people feel special. Customer Service Specialists are the face of Occasionette. Responsibilities include making everyone in the shop feel welcome, helping shoppers find the perfect card or gift, ensuring the shop looks its best every day by restocking and cleaning, ringing up purchases, and gift wrapping for our customers. In addition to being of service to our guests, Customer Service Specialists assist the Shop Manager and Inventory Specialist process incoming orders and communicate product trends in the shop.
Ideal candidates for these positions are friendly, outgoing, think quickly on their feet, have an enthusiasm for cards and gifts, understand the fundamentals of providing top level customer service, have common sense and a sense of humor. We expect all team members to be courteous, punctual and to be able to do simple math (like making change) without the aid of a calculator. We are accepting applications for both part time (15-35 hours per week) and full time roles (35-40 hours per week) and requires weekday and weekend availability.
