Occasionette is open and full of cheer all year long, but the holiday season is when our shops really shine!
We are hiring seasonal, part time customer service associates for the 2025 holiday season in our three shops: East Passyunk (South Philadelphia), Chestnut Hill (Philadelphia), and Collingswood NJ, and at the Christmas Village in City Hall (Philly).
Ideal candidates have knack for making people feel special, an enthusiasm for cards and goods & gifts, common sense, excellent communication skills, and a sense of humor. Outstanding people skills are required to provide the top-notch, low key service we're known for. We expect all team members to be courteous, punctual, ready to pitch in to help with a variety of projects, eager to learn, and to be able to do simple math (like making change) without the aid of a calculator. Customer service employees report to the Shop Manager and our Director of Customer Service. This position requires a physical presence in our storefronts and the ability to lift up to 20 pound bins of merchandise.
Both weekday (daytime + evening) and weekend availability is a must. You will be scheduled to the needs of our small business. All seasonal team members will need to attend a mandatory training session on Oct 28, 2025 in our South Philly office.
